Break Down Fat Tools

The firmest tools we make — the ones that go last in a session, on tissue the lighter tools have already opened. Cube edges, nubs and deep ribs concentrate the same hand pressure onto a fraction of the contact area, which is what lets a practitioner work dense, resistant tissue on the abdomen, flanks, hip and buttock.

These are not the tools you start with. Convention is unanimous on that: lightest first, deepest last, drainage to close. Used on cold tissue or on thin, fragile skin, they are simply uncomfortable.
