Three surfaces on one axis, so you change depth without changing tool

Indicated for

Where this tool earns its place

Not the right tool for

Face, neck, breast tissue, or directly over bone, varicose veins, open wounds or fresh scar tissue. The 30 mm core is narrow — on a bony area it concentrates load sharply.

  • Progressive depthStart on 90 mm, move to 70, finish on 30 without swapping tools.
  • AbdomenThe wide roller for broad passes, the narrow one along the midline.
  • ThighOuter face on the large surface, inner and adductor on the small.
  • Mixed tissueWhen one area needs three intensities in the same session.
  • Small treatment roomsThree tools in one, fewer pieces on the trolley.
  • TeachingShows students how contact area changes pressure, on one object.

Technique

How to work with it

  1. 01

    Choose your surface

Angle decides which roller meets the skin. Flat for the 90 mm, tilted for the narrower ones.

  2. 02

    Oil the whole barrel

You will switch surfaces mid-session. Oil all three at the start, not the one you begin with.

  3. 03

    Wide to narrow

Broad passes to warm and mobilise, then narrow the contact to work what is still resisting.

  4. 04

    Drain to close

Back to the wide surface, or a smooth tool, toward the nearest nodes.

A full six-phase protocol for post-surgical fibrosis — with the tool sequence, timings and evidence level for each step — is available as a free download.

Made by hand

We are the workshop, not the middleman

Every KOWÜA tool is turned on our own lathes. We select the timber, cut it, turn it, sand it through progressive grits and finish it by hand. Nothing is bought in and rebranded.

Three rollers on one shaft means three bores that have to run true. If any of them binds, the tool stops turning where you need it most. Each one is fitted and tested by hand.

Buying direct means you get the price of the factory, custom laser engraving with your clinic's name, and someone who can actually change the tool if you need a different profile.

Care

Cleaning and sanitising

Never

Do not autoclave, do not soak, do not put it in a dishwasher and do not leave it submerged in disinfectant. Wood is porous — immersion swells the fibre, raises the grain and will crack the piece.

  • After each clientWipe all three surfaces and where they meet. Oil pools at the shoulders.
  • Disinfect70% alcohol on the surface, then let it air-dry completely.
  • StoreDry and flat, away from direct heat and sun.

If a surface ever feels rough, a light pass with fine sandpaper along the grain restores it. That is the advantage of an unvarnished finish: it can be renewed, and there is no coating to chip into a client's skin.

Questions we get

How do I know it is the right size?

500 mm end to end with 120 mm of handle each side. The three working surfaces measure 90, 70 and 30 mm across.

Do all three surfaces turn?

Yes, independently. Which one meets the skin depends on the angle you hold it at, not on any adjustment.

Does it replace three separate rollers?

For most sessions, yes. Where it does not is depth — if you need nubs or edges, a dedicated tool still goes further than any of these three surfaces.

Can I use it on post-surgical clients?

Yes, once your protocol and the surgeon's clearance allow mechanical work on the area. Start on the widest surface. Never on fresh incisions.

Can I get my clinic's name on it?

Yes. We laser-engrave logos and names from 10 pieces. See wholesale tiers and engraving.

Do you ship outside Colombia?

Yes, worldwide with tracking, and shipping is free on orders over $350 with duties included. For orders of 10 pieces or more we quote freight directly.

I am buying for a training academy. Is there a better route?

Yes — academies usually order the same reference in volume, which puts you in a wholesale tier straight away, with engraving included from 30 pieces. Request a quote.

Buying for a clinic or academy?

Wholesale starts at ten pieces

Mix and match any references. Discounts from 15%, custom laser engraving with your clinic's name, and freight quoted directly so you are not paying retail rates.
