What is in the case

4 pieces, and what each one is for

Four pieces scaled to the face — a full cold protocol for jawline, cheekbone and neck.

  • Facial cupSuction and drainage — lifts rather than presses100 × 35 mm
  • Ridged rollerThe jawline, worked toward the nodes120 × 30 mm
  • MushroomPegged head for point work on cheek and chin95 × 40 mm
  • Y boardContouring and the close of the session85 × 65 mm

These four pieces are cast at facial scale and are only made as a set. They are not sold individually, which is why there is no separate-piece comparison here. Metal holds cold for the length of a session and can be fully immersed to chill or disinfect — the reason to reach for this over the wooden facial tools.

  • Made by us Cast and finished in our own workshop in Colombia
  • Four pieces Cup, roller, mushroom and Y board — a full facial protocol
  • Ships worldwide Tracked delivery to professionals in eight countries

Four pieces, all cold, all scaled to a face. Sold as a set.

Indicated for

Where this set earns its place

Not the right set for

Structural change. These are cosmetic tools: they work on how the skin looks and feels in a session, not on facial anatomy. Never around the eye, over the thyroid, or on active acne, rosacea or broken capillaries — and not for clients where cold is contraindicated.

  • A complete protocolCup 100 × 35, roller 120 × 30, mushroom 95 × 40, Y board 85 × 65.
  • Cold, and it stays coldMetal does not warm to the skin the way wood does — the point of a cold facial.
  • Can be chilledRefrigerate the set before the session.
  • Jawline and neckThe ridged roller follows the mandible; the Y board closes toward the collarbone.
  • Hygiene, on a faceNon-porous: fully immersible in disinfectant between clients. This matters most here.
  • Post-operative stagesOnly from the point the treating surgeon has cleared in writing.

How to work with the set

  1. 01

    Chill it, and ask first

Fridge, never freezer. Check cold tolerance before the first piece touches the face.

  2. 02

    Cup, then roller

Cleanse and oil. The cup opens and drains; the ridged roller follows the jawline from chin to ear.

  3. 03

Mushroom for points, Y board to close

Brief point work with the pegged head, then the Y board down the neck to the collarbone.

  4. 04

    Anchor, and stay light

Free hand holding the skin taut, always. Facial skin is millimetres thick — more pressure reaches nothing deeper, it only marks.

Made by hand

We are the workshop, not the middleman

Every KOWÜA tool is made in our own workshop in Colombia. We cut, form and finish each piece by hand. Nothing is bought in and rebranded.

The metal line exists for one reason: it holds cold for the length of a session, and it is non-porous, so it takes the immersion disinfection that wood cannot. Where your regulations require immersion between clients, this is the line to reach for.

Buying direct means the price of the factory, custom laser engraving with your clinic’s name, and someone who can actually change the tool if you need a different profile.

Care

Cleaning and sanitising

The advantage

Metal is non-porous. Unlike wood it can be washed fully, immersed in disinfectant, and chilled before a session — which is the whole reason this line exists.

  • After each clientWash fully with mild soap and a soft sponge.
  • DisinfectBy immersion in the solution your regulations require.
  • DryTo prevent water marks. Metal tolerates the water; the finish looks better dry.
  • To use coldChill before the session. The mass holds temperature for most of an hour.

Do not autoclave. Heat cycles are unnecessary here — immersion disinfection already does the job.

Before you order

Questions we get

Can I use it on post-surgical clients?

Only with written clearance from the treating surgeon, who alone decides when a patient may progress from gentle manual lymphatic drainage to firmer tooled work. Clearance timelines vary widely between surgeons and between patients, and we publish none. Never on fresh incisions.

Does it need oil?

Yes. A dry tool on dry skin drags and bruises. Any professional massage oil works; ours are formulated to keep slip.

How long does it last?

Metal does not swell, crack or raise grain, so with normal cleaning it outlasts a wooden tool used the same way. It is the low-maintenance end of the range.

Can I really put it in disinfectant?

Yes — full immersion, which is exactly what wood cannot take. If your local regulations require immersion between clients, that is the argument for this line rather than the finish.

Will it mark the skin?

Redness and warmth during a session are expected. Bruising is not — it means too much pressure, or a tool too deep for that tissue. Treatment should never be painful.

Can I get my clinic’s name on it?

Yes. We laser-engrave logos and names from 10 pieces. See wholesale tiers and engraving.

Do you ship outside Colombia?

Yes, worldwide with tracking. For orders of 10 pieces or more we quote freight directly.

Which tool comes next?

Depends what you already have. Our wood therapy tool guide ranks every surface we make by depth and shows where each one belongs in a session.
